Let Michael Vick back in, Mr. Goodell.

Thats my thought on the matter. We have a killer playing in the league in Leonard Little, who actually murdered two human beings when he hit and killed a pregnant woman while driving drunk. HE KILLED A HUMAN BEING. Mike Vick killed a few dogs.
Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. I am a dog owner, and they are my favorite pet. But in no way, ever, should dogs be considered like humans. If you kill a human, you are scum. You are evil. I don't care if you are drunk or not. You killed a human. So how is it fair that Little gets to make money playing the game he loves when he KILLED A PERSON, but Mike Vick loses everything when he kills a few dogs. He's lost all his money, his profession, and all his supporters. Little is a fan-favorite for the St. Louis Rams and is considered a great player, but Vick is one of, if not the most, hated player in the league. Disgusting. If Little plays, Vick plays, in my opinion.

This is ridiculous.

So, with one week left until the real thing, here is my (hopefully) final mock draft:

1.      Lions- Jason Smith, OT, Baylor

            I’ve had Matt Stafford slated into this pick since Sam Bradford announced he was

            staying in college, but why not take the sure thing here and take Bradford or

            McCoy next year?

2.      Rams- Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia

            They need a tackle, and with Smith gone, they go with the second best available.

3.      Chiefs- Aaron Curry, LB, Wake Forest

            I’m thinking this is as close to a lock as there is in a draft. That is, if Detroit or St.

            Louis don’t take him.

4.      Seahawks- Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech

            I just don’t see them going QB here, and a Crabtree-Houshmandzadeh-Burelson

            would look good for Hasselbeck. However, if Smith, Monroe, and Curry go

            1-2-3, I could see the Hawks trading down and looking for a RB.

5.      Browns- Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas

            This pick hasn’t changed since my first mock. The Browns need help on defense.

6.      Bengals- Andre Smith, OT, Alabama

            Protecting Carson Palmer is key for this team, but Maclin could be an option here.

7.      Raiders- Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri

            Maclin is the second best receiver in the draft, and the Raiders will complete a

            Russell-McFadden-Maclin trio.

8.      Jaguars- Matt Stafford, QB, Georgia

            If the Lions take Smith, there could be a very long wait for Stafford and Sanchez.

            The Jaguars take the possibly best value pick of the draft in Matt Stafford.

9.      Packers- B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College

            This guy is good. The Packers will take advantage of Raji’s mistakes, and stop his

            fall.

10.  49’s- Mark Sanchez, QB, USC

            The 49’s made a push for Kurt Warner over the offseason, and Sanchez will take over the most disappointing position on this squad.

11.  Bills- Aaron Maybin, LB, Penn State

            Maybin is a good, versatile player from Linebacker U. I have had this pick happening from day one.

12.  Broncos- Everette Brown, DE, Florida State

            With the first of their two first round picks, I think the Broncos will go with Brown after their top two choices (Sanchez and Raji) are off the board.

13.  Redskins- Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee

            The run on defensive front seven players affects the Skins drafting, and they go with Ayers.

14.  Saints- Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois

            This is another pick I’ve had, and I’ll keep with it. I think the Saints’ biggest need is at corner.

15.  Texans- Clay Matthews, LB, USC

            His uncle Bruce Matthews is a linebacker coach in Houston, so Matthews could blossom in a perfect environment.

16.  Chargers- Rey Maualuga, LB, USC

            Maualuga seems to be a perfect fit for the Chargers, and he could be a boom-or-bust type of player.

17.  Jets- Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas State

            Freeman isn’t necessarily a great QB, but he is better than Kellen Clemens, Erik Ainge, or Brett Ratliff.

18.  Broncos- Peria Jerry, DT, Ole Miss

            This may be a bit of a stretch here, but the glaring need for a NT is Denver is inescapable.

19.  Buccaneers- Brian Cushing, LB, USC

            I’ve had Freeman going here, but if the Jets take him, look for the Bucs to replace (or attempt to replace) Derrick Brooks.

20.  Lions- James Laurinaitis, LB, Ohio State

            The Lions need a fearless, big-time MLB. Laurinaitis will bring that intensity back to the Lions defense.

21.  Eagles- Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia

            The future of this pick is unsure with Philly contemplating another deal for a big name WR, but with Westbrook turning 30, this is the pick if they stay put.

22.  Vikings- Percy Harvin, WR, Florida

            Heyward-Bey could be the pick, as well as Oher. For now, however, I think Harvin will really complement Adrian Peterson.

23.  Patriots- Connor Barwin, LB, Cincinnati

            Barwin is the most versatile player in the draft, and some have compared him to Mike Vrabel. Who better to have a Vrabel-like player than the team that once had Vrabel?

24.  Falcons- Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Oklahoma State

            Pettigrew is an exceptional talent at the TE position, and Matt Ryan will quickly find just how exceptional.

25.  Dolphins- Malcom Jenkins, CB, Ohio State

            Jenkins has had a pretty huge fall from glory since January. I could see him teaming up with Gibril Wilson in Miami.

26.  Ravens- Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland

            Heyward-Bey could go one pick ahead of Baltimore to Miami, but if he falls this   far, Baltimore would be delighted to have him. I have had Laurinaitis at this pick, but it seems like the Lions will take him at 20.

27.  Colts- Evander Hood, DT, Missouri

            With the top two DTs off the board, the Colts look to improve the inside of their line with Hood.

28.  Bills- Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss

            The Bills took Maybin with their first pick, and a quality tackle is always a good way to spend a pick.

29.  Giants- Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers

            The Giants need a WR, and there is a big possibility that they trade this pick for one. But, if they keep the pick, Hakeem Nicks or Britt would both be good picks.

30.  Titans- Darius Butler, CB, Connecticut

            Nick Harper’s career is getting close to ending, and the Titans take the third best corner here.

31.  Cardinals- Chris “Beanie” Wells, RB, Ohio State

            The Cardinals are expected to release Edgerrin James, and Wells would be a great complement to Hightower. This would be a great value.

32.  Steelers- Max Unger, C, Oregon

            Unger would help with their offensive line’s depth. It’s about the only thing they can improve.

Mike Holmgren.

The name provokes emotion, pride, and honor. He is a leader among men, an all-time great. A Hall-of-Famer.

But, his Seahawks are currently 2-10. He is in his last season, and he is obviously far removed from the glory days of Lambeau Field, or even Superbowl XL in 2005.

I was just fine with the questionable and predictable play calling, the unemotional apathy displayed on the sidelines. Just fine. But, when I heard today from Fox Sports that the day before a Thanksgiving Day game against the Cowboys that Holmgren got 'choked up' during a team meeting in which he expressed his pride in the team and his thankfulness that they don't quit, I freaked.

"THEY ARE 2 AND FREAKIN' NINE!" I screamed at my television. Pathetic. How are you, Mike Holmgren, proud of the worst team you have ever put on an NFL field? How are you grateful that they don't quit? They do quit. Every game, you see guys give up on plays and "hope" that someone else will make the tackle or catch the ball. They "hope" that someone will make the play. But, in a player's career, there comes a point that they need to create an atomsphere for their team, one that screams, "Let's just play like we are capable of playing!" But, there is no one in the huddle that wants to step up, or even a player on the sideline. So, who does it come down to?

Head coach Mike Holmgren. But, when he says he is 'proud' of the way his two-and-ten team has played, I have a problem. He needs to tell his players they aren't playing well. If it isn't obvious already, that's were the head coach steps up. Thats were he needs to show toughness, not tears. Smack-someone-in-the-mouth emotion, not let's-share-our-feelings emotion.

Jim Mora Jr. will be a breath of relief on the sidelines for me. I am disappointed to say the least.

Not to complain, but I am the saddest blogger on this site.

I am a fan from the Pacific NW. Therefore, I am a fan of possibly the worst state of affairs for any region, ever.

• We have lost our Sonics. Ah, our beloved SuperSonics. Not only did we lose our Sonics, but we lost them to a pathetic, greedy man who is all about money. We got screwed by the NBA and David Stern. Point #1.
• The Mariners, who have graced us with so many memories, have taken away any hope of a World Series title, any time soon. Now, instead of Junior, Edgar, and Sweet Lou, we have McLaren, Bedard, and Sexson. Point #2.
• Our college footballs teams are possibly the worst of the bunch. The Cougars won't be good for quite a while. The Huskies have seemed to lost their momentum from the BYU game (yes, I blame the refs). Point #3.
• The Seahawks are now 0-2. We are plagued with injuries, to the point of pulling wide receivers off the street. Hopefully we can turn it around, but if we don't, this is point #4.

Now, for our bright spots.

• The Central Washington Wildcats. Division 2 football. Actually, this could be listed as a downside if this is our only upside.
• We received a new MLS team: the Sounders.
• The Seattle Storm. *Phew*! I'm glad we saved 'em! They are in the playoffs, and they have Lauren Jackson and Sue Bird. Upside.
